The three sides in the relegation zone - Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City - would presumably be relieved if the season was called off and they were given the chance to play for their survival once more. However, other teams around the drop zone might not want to risk the remainder of the season, either.
Liverpool are arguably the best side in Europe this season have no loss since the start of the season is arguably the best performance of any team this season. They have been scoring goals at an exponential rate and a prediction of above three scores is not a far fetched prediction .Norwich host the best of the best today. The face the best while they are in distress of poorly performing of late within the league they lost to Liverpool in the first head encounter and I feel today won't be any different although they might try to surprise Liverpool
Sandra, Merseyside: What an utter, utter VARce!! The 'rule' is ridiculous and needs to be changed. Hardly a clear, deliberate handball! You just can't celebrate a goal any more. Lewis, Leicester: You know the games gone when Dean Henderson is celebrating VAR on his Twitter. Football is currently coming second after VAR. Our sport is a joke at the minute. I seriously would rather watch the Championship than the Premier League, where football is football and nothing else.
The incentive I set myself in 1994-95 was to get back to fitness and split up Shearer and Sutton. I wanted to be the one who played up front. I didn't care whether it was with Alan or Chris. Helped by a kung-fu kickOn 20 April, Blackburn beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to go eight points clear of nearest rivals Manchester United, who have been without influential Eric Cantona since 25 January after being banned for a kung-fu kick on a Crystal Palace fan.
Both Napoli and Genk head to this game on unimpressive runs. They have both failed to register wins in their last nine matches. The difference here will come in their runs in the Champions League; Napoli have been doing well, and especially at home, while Genk have been so poor. Based on their form at home, we feel that while Napoli need just a draw, they will go on to win here. Napoli have scored in seven of their last nine home matches but have no clean sheets in three home matches in the Champions League. On the other hand, Genk have conceded two or more in eight of their last nine matches, but have scored in eight of their last 10 matches. On this background, we will go with both sides scoring but Genk conceding more, which will also be backed by the fact seven of their last 10 matches have yielded over 2.5 goals. We will thus pick on a 2-1 win in favor of Napoli here.
Even so, Walkes still does not have a full set of furniture in his home. I've got everything down to a schedule now. I work out from home, we stay in contact with the team so we're always getting a lot of information regarding what exercise, what sessions we should be doing. Our shared interests have helped keep everyone's spirits up. Some people live in the same apartment complexes, so they see each other and speak to each other frequently.
Enjoying the longest European campaign in their history, LASK will have many neutrals in their corner this Thursday. They will be viewed as underdogs before the match yet their form this season warrants a bigger billing. They have the quality in their ranks to go to the Netherlands and get a result. Expect a close game between two sides that will cancel each other out. Back a draw.
Tenenager Haaland twice found the space he needed to score and an equaliser by Neymar in the 75th minute, with the Brazilian winger often having to drop deep to pick up the ball, did nothing to change the eventual outcome. I know after a match if the result is not right it can be said that the system was a mistake," Tuchel said.
After previously finding the net against Chelsea and Club Bruges, Anthony Martial has now scored in three consecutive games, something he has not managed since September 2017. Solskjaer, though, says it is "a coincidence" Martial has started scoring following Bruno Fernandes' £47m arrival from Sporting Lisbon.
Everybody loves a cup underdog. The plucky side who shock the big guns and battle their way into the latter stages of a competition and into the national consciousness. Barcelona's Dembele ruled out for six months after operation and will miss Euro 2020 'A PR disaster for Hertha' - Eurosport Germany's view on Klinsmann's departure It’s the reason people still get sucked into cup football, even if that allure appears to be becoming fainter and fainter as domestic leagues and European competitions strengthen their financial grip on football.
Wigan head into this clash with four defeats in five matches in the Championship, while their long-running problems on the road date back to last season. The Latics have won once in their last 31 away trips, so we doubt they’ll make an impact here. We are backing Luton to claim a victory in this match, while we’re going with a 2-1 home win given that the hosts have just one clean sheet behind them at this ground so far.
The Iron have been improving of late and they are undefeated in their last five league matches. A closer look at this improvement highlights that it has been built on the back of an improvement at the back and they have conceded just three times in their last five matches in the league.
For me the stadium was completely green - the colour of St Etienne. It felt like an away game. The St Etienne team is pictured before flying to Glasgow to face Bayern Munich'Glorious failure' Les Verts would need all the help they could get from their fans - they would have to start the game without their talisman Dominique Rocheteau, who was injured and had to spend most of the game of the bench. Nonetheless, St Etienne would dominate much of the tense tie.

Only Aves (0 points from eight games) are worse than Moreirense and their seven-game winless run on the road. They’ve got a poor scoring record on their travels too, with only six goals in those seven. The visitors have scored 67% of their total goals at home this term, failing to score in 43% of their away Primeira Liga matches.
The Basque side went ahead in the 15th minute after a bright start when Ander Capa pounced on a loose ball inside the area and slid it under Sevilla keeper Tomas Vaclik into the bottom corner. Sevilla dominated the remainder of the first half and twice came close to levelling, with Ever Banega hitting the bar straight from a corner and Munir El Haddadi having a shot scrambled off the line by Yeray Alvarez.

LONDON, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Jose Mourinho said Tottenham Hotspur are still alive in the Champions League despite his side being outplayed by RB Leipzig in their 1-0 loss in the first leg of the last-16 tie on Wednesday. The illustrious Portuguese was eclipsed by Leipzig's fresh-faced young coach Julian Nagelsmann and the one surprise was that the visitors' only reward for a dominant display was Timo Werner's 58th-minute penalty.

Forest captain Watson was fortunate not to concede a penalty on 21 minutes, knocking Pritchard down as he skipped into the box. A well-worked free-kick routine on the edge of the area just before the half-hour mark led to Huddersfield's best first-half chance, only for Ameobi to intervene by hacking Grant's shot over the bar. Despite the Terriers looking the more industrious for long periods of the first half, it was the Reds that took the lead - Grabban showing brilliant technique with a close-range volley after being picked out by Worrall at the far post.
Three of Augsburg's six Bundesliga away games have seen under 2.5 goals this season. Meanwhile, this fixture has also produced low scoring contests in recent times. Four of the last six meetings between these two teams have seen under 2.5 goals scored.
I thought we improved in the second half. I think you have to give credit to Palace; they slow the game down. We were not a million miles off but it just did not quite gel. We have moved a long way from last season. We try to build an environment where we can move. Disappointed today but not disappointed overall.
Carlo Ancelotti and Nigel Pearson continued to revive their respective new clubs with Everton and Watford claiming their second Christmas wins, but once again the use of VAR dominated the airwaves and social media with further controversies. The sale of Samir Nasri to Manchester City and Robin van Persie set Arsenal back immeasurably and both players helped their new clubs win the title the following season. GOOOOAALLLL! Aston Villa 1-0 Liverpool. Not the prettiest as Conor Hourihane's free-kick goes straight in! Suckerpunch for Liverpool's youngsters. Hourihane lined up the free-kick, which he whipped into the middle with venom, Jonathan Kodjia stuck out a leg, missed it, which deceived Kelleher in the Liverpool goal, and the ball squirmed underneath his dive and in.
Meanwhile, Southampton are still waiting for their first home league win of the season, and they have actually only won five of their 18 home Premier League matches since Hasenhuttl took charge. Each of their last four have ended in defeat, and while we’re not expecting Watford to claim all three points we do think backing a Hornets Win or Draw Double Chance is a good value option here.
The festive period has proven to be extremely kind for Colchester United as they have been able to maximise their performances and earn an extremely good return from the hectic schedule. The hosts come into this match having gone undefeated in their last nine league matches and the 18 points earned during their last eight league contests is bettered only by current League Two leaders, Swindon Town.
I think Barnes has been Leicester's best player since Christmas. I remember watching him in the 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur back in September. He impressed me and really caught my eye. His impact was overshadowed by bigger names in the squad because he was not scoring. Now he has added end product to his good performances, contributing to 10 goals this season. You can see his confidence has grown too.

It's not clear yet if boss Jorge Sampaoli will continue with the club's project next year but for now focus can only be on a strong end to the campaign. Unbeaten in 6 games, of which they've won 4, the side can be extremely confident coming into Sunday's game and having also won 5 of their last 6 home games, their prospects look bright as regards securing victory.
Kuktosh did show big improvement, comparing to the previous year, when team was in the relegation play off, They went back in the current season, with very good performances, and well results against some of the top league rivals. Team is still underdog here, against the current Champion, but they should avoid some big loss in the game, and put the favorite on hard challenge.
